The camel shows us how to slow down and reserve our energy, teaching us the importance of survival and living from within.  They encourage us to stand strong and learn to depend on our own inner gifts and talents. As we find others in need of our care, we may need to carry them for awhile, but must learn how to care for them without giving too much of ourselves. The camel reminds us to be of service but to remain in touch with our survival instincts.
